Electronic Personal Dosimeter (EPD)
EPD Management System dispenses and stores Electronic Personal Dosimeter (EPD). Each Worker can take out or put in an EPD after identification via the system’s personal identification technology. This system is not only ‘ storage system’ but also ‘EPD reader’. At the time of return of an EPD, exposure dose of the worker from the worker’s EPD is transferred to the Data Base, then the EPD is initialized. The system admin can set up multiple EPDs and extract historical exposure data through the system software, and also enhance management efficiency of EPD.
Smart safety checkpoint for entry into RCA (Radiation Controlled Area)
RCA Access Control System is a smart safety checkpoint for workers upon entry into RCA (Radiation Controlled Area) of nuclear power plant. This system manages radiation exposure dose and radiation worker access into RCA effectively by using dose management software. This system only allows authorized persons based on RWP (Radiation Work Permit), and prevents unauthorized access. When entrance is allowed, dose limit of the selected RWP transferred to EPD (Electronic Personal Dosimeter) and EPD mode is changed into Active mode, and when exit is allowed, exposure dose value is transferred to server computer and EPD mode is changed into pause mode automatically. If worker’s exposure dose exceeds daily limit, RWP limit or annual limit, access of such worker is restricted by the system.
