Smart safety checkpoint for entry into RCA (Radiation Controlled Area)
Product Details | RCA Access Control System is a smart safety checkpoint for workers upon entry into RCA (Radiation Controlled Area) of nuclear power plant. This system manages radiation exposure dose and radiation worker access into RCA effectively by using dose management software. This system only allows authorized persons based on RWP (Radiation Work Permit), and prevents unauthorized access. When entrance is allowed, dose limit of the selected RWP transferred to EPD (Electronic Personal Dosimeter) and EPD mode is changed into Active mode, and when exit is allowed, exposure dose value is transferred to server computer and EPD mode is changed into pause mode automatically. If worker’s exposure dose exceeds daily limit, RWP limit or annual limit, access of such worker is restricted by the system. |

• Access Restriction of unauthorized worker, worker who has exceeded the allowed dose limit. • While a worker entering into the RCA, operation dose expected in the RWP is set to alarm value in EPD. • Worker’s access(Entrance and Exit) data is transferred into the Database Server. So is worker’s exposure dose data during his or her exiting. • Daily/Monthly/Yearly exposure dose inquiry for each worker. • While worker’s entering into RCA or leaving from RCA, EPD's mode is changed between Active and Pause. |
