HAK Smoke Dampers are used to prevent the spread of smoke from the space of fire origin to other spaces in the same building. These dampers are available as safety-related (SR) and non-safety-related (NSR) items. Safety related dampers are fabricated with Q-class components and dedicated commercial-grade items, and verified for seismic qualification (SQ). They can also be verified for environmental qualification (EQ).
